This week, we are in our review week for the first unit in our Language Arts curriculum. Our spelling words are review words from our spelling and vocabulary lists from the previous weeks. In our curriculum, we will be focusing on related words, main idea and details, graphic organizers, narrative nonfiction, antonyms and synonyms, and clauses and complex sentences this week.
We begin Chapter 4 in out Math textbooks. We will be learning about mean, median, mode, and how to interpret information on a graph.

Go to the above link and enter the following into the field that says "Access Code": (The code won't work if you copy and paste it into the field. You have to type in the access code on the keyboard.)

Now, this resource will let you view the entire math textbook at home. ALSO, it will allow you to print out the homework we do and give you additional math pages for practice. (To get to homework you will need to click on the "Table of Contents"; then you will click on the little gray arrow next to whichever chapter you want the homework for; a list will drop down from the arrow; click on whichever lesson we are working on (IE 14-6); then click on the "Resources" button which is next to the "Table of Contents" button; finally, homework and additional practice resources will appear for you to view.) If your child "forgets" his or her homework, you can still have him or her do it if you have an internet connection.
