Thursday's Homework
Language Arts: Reading comprehension worksheet. (We have a reading comprehension test tomorrow. The students will do three worksheets like the one for homework tonight for a test grade.)*
Reading: Read for 30 minutes and log it on the reading log which is due on Monday.
Math: "Multiplication Facts to 49 With Zeros" worksheet. (Don't forget to check out www.ca.gr4math.com . We are in Chapter 5. This Chapter is on multiplication and division.)
*Writing Test tomorrow. The students will be given a writing prompt. It will ask the students to write a narrative about a specific event. An example writing prompt is, "Write about your experience going to a sporting event." (For the writing prompt, the highest scores will be for "providing a thoroughly developed sequence of significant events to relate ideas, observations, and/or memories. Also, includes vivid descriptive language and sensory details that enable the reader to imagine the events or experiences.")
