"This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave."  ~Elmer Davis
(Since today is 9/11, my prayers, thoughts, and best wishes go to the families of the men and women in the military. Thank you for the sacrifices that are made to protect the freedom of an American like me.)

9/13-9/17
There are NO spelling words or vocabulary words to be tested this upcoming week because it is UNIT TEST week.

Finally, there is a "Writing Prompt" the students are given. It will ask the students to write about a specific event. Also, includes vivid descriptive language and sensory details that enable the reader to imagine the events or experiences.")
