Monday (9/27)

Monday's Homework

Spelling: Write spelling words three times each.
Reading: Read for 30 minutes.
Math: Test on Tuesday! Complete "Practice Test" Worksheet. This worksheet has a similar format and similar questions to the actual test. We will go over the answers in class before we take our test.

Vocabulary
1. roundup- the act of driving or bring cattle together from long distances.
2. coyote- a small, wolf-like mammal living in many parts of North America.
3. spurs- metal points or pointed wheels, worn on a rider's boot heels for urging a horse on.
4. dudes- people raised in the city, especially easterners who vacation on a ranch.
5. bawling- crying out in a noisy way.

Being able to know these words and knowing their meanings will help the students as they read next weeks selection, Coyote School News.
