Writing
This week we will write a biography about a person who developed a new form of communication. This person we will write about will be Louis Braille. A biography is the story of a real person's life, or, an important incident in it, told by another person.
Biographies usually use sequence words, such as "at first" and "then," as the story unfolds. These sequence words hekp the reader keep track of the order in which events occurred.
Math
We finished math chapter 12 last week and will begin chapter 13. Chapter 13 covers Fractions.
We tested on chapter 12 last Thursday. Students who scored low on the test will retest on chapter 12 on Friday.
