boarding school: school with buildings where the students live during the school term
dormitory: a building with many rooms in which people sleep. Many colleges have dormitories for students whose homes are elsewhere.
endurance: power to last and to withstand hard wear
manual: done with the hands
reservation: land set aside by the government for a special purpose
society: the people of any particular time or place
            This week, for language arts we are reading the story Jim Thorpes Bright Path, word analysis is “Latin Roots” dur/ject, grammer focus is capitalization, and our writing genre for the week is biography.
            For math, we are continuing in chapter 14. This was another chapter that the students had difficulty understanding when we went over it the first time earlier this year. You may refer to ca.gr4math.com to review this material with your child.
