We have two very long school district-wide tests we will be taking Monday and Tuesday morning called the district “Blueprints.”
This week in Language Arts, we are reading the story Scene Two. We are focusing on this week Latin prefixes, drawing conclusions, irregular plural nouns, and learning about the reading/writing genre plays.
For math, we are continuing through chapter five in our math books. The main focus in chapter 5 is multiplication and division math facts. Multiplication and division math facts are something we will be using all year, so this is a skill that needs to be continually at school and at home on their own.

Go to the above link and enter the following into the field that says "Access Code": (The code won't work if you copy and paste it into the field. You have to type in the access code on the keyboard.)

Now, this resource will let you view the entire math textbook at home. ALSO, it will allow you to print out the homework we do and give you additional math pages for practice. (To get to homework you will need to click on the "Table of Contents"; then you will click on the little gray arrow next to whichever chapter you want the homework for; a list will drop down from the arrow; click on whichever lesson we are working on (IE 14-6); then click on the "Resources" button which is next to the "Table of Contents" button; finally, homework and additional practice resources will appear for you to view.) If your child "forgets" his or her homework, you can still have him or her do it if you have an internet connection.

This resource has some videos that reteach the lesson we are on. There are also extra practice problems, and sometimes math games available for a lesson.
